Hope so. Lots of Evo guys sell their 8s for IXs, which is a minimal upgrade, so you'd thing G and Z guys would make the massive jump.

I wonder if the GT-R will bring upgrades to the G and Z we already have (i.e. RWD w/ a turbo engine, etc.)

yea but the Z is 26-35k and the GT-R will be 60-80k not may people can do that. More likely Porsche owners will be sell or dare I say it Lotus Elise and Exige owners will be getting into it. Or Vette owners (but they can rarely go from American made to Japanese so that is not too likely).
